SENSORS

Rain sensors are a must on any irrigation system, after all, who wants to have their sprinklers running while it's raining out?

GardenMasters can help you conserve water on your residential landscaping by installing many of the Hunter Industries water saving devices shown below. Other water saving devices available from Toro and RainBird upon request.

Hunter Mini Clik

The Hunter Mini-Clik Rain Sensor is the most effective way to prevent your sprinklers from coming on during or after precipitation. Easily installed on any automatic irrigation system, the Mini-Clik shuts sprinklers off in a

storm and keeps them off, automatically compensating for the amount of rainfall that occurred.

As the moisture-laden disks expand, they eventually activate a switch that interrupts the circuit from the controller to the solenoid valves. Once dry, they contract and release the switch. Thus, Mini-Clik automatically resets without ever affecting your controller. There's no better way to ensure that a system isn't watering when it isn't necessary.

Hunter Solar Sync

The Solar-Sync is a sensor system that, when connected to your Hunter controller, will automatically adjust your controller watering based upon changes in local climate conditions.  The Solar-Sync utilizes a solar and teperature sensor to measure on-site weather conditions used to determine evapotransporation (ET), or the rate at which plants and turf use water.

In addition, the Solar-Sync sensor includes a Hunter Rain Click and Freeze Clik sensor that will shut down your irrigation system when it rains and/or during freezing conditions.

Hunter Wireless Rain  Sensor

If the thought of running wires from a controller has kept you from adding rain sensors to your systems, now there's a hasslefree alternative.

The Hunter Wireless Rain-Clik attaches quickly and easily simply install the receiver unit next to your irrigation controller, then install the transmitter anywhere that the device can receive representative rainfall.

The unique Quick Response feature allows the product to shut off immediately when it starts to rain. And, unlike its competition, Hunter's sophisticated sensing mechanism cannot be fouled by debris, giving the Wireless Rain-Clik accurate operation.

Hunter ET System

The new Hunter ET System monitors weather factors on a daily basis and actually adjusts each zone for you every day!

It's like having your local weather man custom program your irrigation system for you every day!

The ET Sensor measures solar radiation, air temperature, and relative humidity, and calculates the daily Evapotranspiration factor (ET) for the irrigation zones. This represents the amount of water lost by the

plants to local climatic conditions, which needs to be replaced by irrigation.

The ET Sensor also includes a Rain Gauge, which will stop automatic irrigation that may be in progress.

The ET Module has settings to customize each zone's plant type, soil type, and sprinkler types, so that ET data

can be applied proportionately for each unique irrigation requirement.
